As a Junior Key Account Manager (KAM) at Jumia Ghana, you will drive commercial growth and expand platform assortment by closely managing a high-potential portfolio of marketplace vendors. In this role, you will analyse sales trends, maintain top content standards, and execute competitive pricing strategies. Using Jumia’s automated workflows, self-service tools, and standardized channels, you will efficiently guide sellers, optimize stock availability, and maximize vendor participation in major commercial campaigns.
What you will be doing:
• Portfolio Management: Closely manage and nurture a high-potential portfolio of marketplace vendors to maximize their sales and growth.
• Commercial Strategy & Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, stock levels, and content standards to identify assortment gaps and drive competitive pricing.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and optimize key commercial and operational metrics, including GMV, inventory levels, pricing, fulfillment rates, and overall revenue.
• Commercial Campaign Mobilization: Drive active vendor participation in major Jumia Ghana campaigns, including Ghana Shopping Festival, Jumia Anniversary, Black Friday, and Jumia Festival.
• Scalable Account Operations: Leverage automated workflows, self-service portals, and standardized communications to efficiently manage high-volume account interactions.
What we are looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, with exposure to e-commerce, sales, or account management.
• Strong numerical agility to analyze sales performance, track inventory trends, and interpret market pricing data.
• Understanding of online retail operations, vendor management, and product catalog standards.
• Comfort utilizing automated platforms, seller centers, and communication tools to manage multiple client relationships efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage sellers, pitch campaign benefits, and drive participation in flagship events.
