About this role
About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
The Associate Operations Manager for Supply Activation & Acquisition plays a pivotal role at Wolt. As Central scales at an unprecedented pace, your mission is to keep courier supply ahead of demand - both in the moment and over the medium term. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of 3, ensuring that intraday activation (weather-driven boosts, DxGy and ARC / radius adjustments) and courier acquisition (job boards, application attainment, reactivations and sign-ups) are tightly coordinated across all Central markets.
In this role, you will own two of Central’s most closely tracked supply KPIs - undersupplied hours and GOV loss - reported weekly to senior leadership, alongside a multi-million euro activation and acquisition budget. Your leadership extends beyond day-to-day activation calls; you will be the primary bridge to higher management on supply health, escalating risks early and proposing structural fixes such as mobilizer strategies and special events planning ahead of demand spikes (holidays, weather events, local events). Your ability to translate data into fast, defensible calls will be key to keeping Central’s ADT, UH% and GOV loss on plan.
What you’ll be doing
• Own Central’s intraday activation strategy - activation surges, special events management and day-to-day operations (radius / busyness adjustments, communication flows, etc.) - to keep courier supply matched to demand hour by hour.
• Lead and mentor a team of 3 and own a multi-million euro activation and acquisition budget across Central markets.
• Own Central’s courier acquisition function: job boards, application attainment, reactivation campaigns and sign-ups.
• Own and report on Central’s UH% and GOV loss KPIs weekly, surfacing risks and driving corrective action with senior leadership.
• Plan and execute mobilizer strategies and special events coverage (holidays, weather events, local events) ahead of demand spikes.
• Partner with Support, Product and Global Delivery Ops to build tools and processes that scale activation and acquisition across markets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for top management on Central’s supply health.
Our humble expectations
• Proven track record managing complex, data-driven operations
