Role Summary We are looking for an experienced commercial counsel to join us as APAC Commercial legal counsel (based in Singapore). This role will report to our Director of Legal APAC and work closely with our business teams in APAC to support our growth in the region. You will partner the sales teams as well as other stakeholders to structure, draft, negotiate and close agreements with customers, partners and suppliers. You will work in a team-first environment collaboratively with other members of the Legal team and internal stakeholders. You are an experienced legal professional who regularly supports public sector and complex enterprise technology deals. You are a skilled commercial contracts negotiator, client-oriented and willing to go the extra mile. You are quick on the uptake, have keen judgement and attention to detail. You are passionate about working on sophisticated contracts and enjoy delving into and understanding business drivers, complex technology and legal issues. You are comfortable with and accustomed to accommodate working with cross-functional teams in various time-zones. What you will do Structure, draft, negotiate and provide strategic advice on a wide range of commercial contracts, including master services agreements, data protection agreements, complex partnership agreements, reseller agreements, professional services agreements. The scope will involve supporting tenders and RFPs. Actively involved in and effectively collaborate with sales representatives, deployment strategists, applied AI engineers, data scientists, infosec, government affairs, marketing, communications and finance to support commercial success and ensure legal and regulatory compliance in APAC. Ownership and accountability to the team to deliver meaningful results, define priorities and manage clients amidst changing deadlines and demands.
