About this role
Join our Food Safety & Quality Assurance team and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards across our operations. In this dynamic position, you'll take ownership of day-to-day compliance activities, ensuring processes are completed accurately and consistently. You'll lead UK FSQA reporting, providing valuable insights that support business performance and regulatory compliance. Working closely with the wider FSQA team, you'll also contribute to exciting food safety and quality improvement projects, helping to drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to excellence.
What You Will Be Doing:
• Reporting and Data Analysis: Generate comprehensive UK FSQA reports, including monthly summaries, a weekly FSQA newsletter (GMP, Ice, Destructive Testing, System Compliance), and routine KPI updates.
• Document Control Management: Own and maintain the UK Document Control process.
• Audit Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Monitor site audit compliance, including tracking GMP scores and updating frequency risk assessments, while leading site initiatives to achieve and sustain high performance scores.
• Customer Complaint Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of UK and IE customer complaints, including detailed investigation, root cause analysis, and proactive trending.
• Certification Readiness: Support the BRCGS GAP Analysis and maintain robust systems and documentation to ensure continuous site audit readiness, for UK and IE
• Quality Assurance Project Leadership: Drive independent projects and perform ad hoc tasks focused on maintaining and enhancing compliance with food safety and quality standards. Oversee routine processes such as temperature monitoring and calibration checks.
• Training Support: Support the development and delivery of site training programs necessary to uphold quality standards.
• Risk Communication: Ensure clear, timely, and effective communication and escalation of all quality and safety risks and issues to relevant stakeholders.
Who You Are:
• Proven experience in a quality/ compliance role within food & beverage or similar industries.
• Proven track record of experience in a people management role, demonstrating the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams effectively! Proficiency in using quality management software or tools for data analysis and reporting
• Experience HACCP Level 3 & Food Safety Level 3 Degree in food science, food technology or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in using G-Suite Software
• Proven experience in managing direct reports and line management responsibilities
• Confident and effective communicator with strong interpersonal, relationship building and negotiation skills
