In the UK, we operate in one of the most competitive and fast-paced restaurant markets, where success requires strong execution, resilience, and commercial drive. This role is a high-performance, target-driven sales position, focused on new business acquisition, where you will own your territory, consistently deliver results, and contribute to the development of the wider team.

What you will do:
This is a field-based role for the East London/Essex area (approx. 80% of your time).
Your day-to-day will include:
• Prospecting restaurants via cold calls, walk-ins, and outreach
• Conducting in-person meetings and product demos to present TheFork products and services
• Managing your own pipeline from first contact to closing
• Adapting your schedule to restaurant availability (including occasional evening meetings)
• Support onboarding and ramp-up of new hires
• Share best practices and contribute to team performance improvement
• Act as a role model in terms of activity levels, pipeline management, and execution
• Provide informal support to managers on day-to-day operational topics when needed
This is a highly proactive new business role focused on self-generated pipeline and outbound prospecting. Success in this position comes from consistency, ownership, and the ability to build strong commercial relationships in a fast-paced environment.
What success looks like:
First 60 days:
• Quick ramp up on the sales pitch and product knowledge (both B2C and B2B)
• Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Start to establish wider network in the sector of useful industry contacts
• Close deals early and demonstrate ability to operate autonomously
After first 60 days:
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly targets
• Maintain strong pipeline coverage and activity levels (15 meeting per week / 30+ opportunities created monthly)
• Active discovery and participation/attendance at industry/networking events
• Contribute to team performance through knowledge sharing and support
Who you are:
You must meet these essential qualifications:
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong advantage
• 5+ years of experience in sales, with a strong track record in new business acquisition
