Job Summary We are recruiting Data and Policy Analysts to support an evidence-based research project in Nigeria. This is a research-intensive role requiring systematic thinking, strong analytical ability, and exceptional attention to detail. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-impact governance research while working remotely within a coordinated and quality-driven team environment. Key Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive online research to gather relevant data from various digital sources and databases • Execute accurate data entry tasks while maintaining high standards of precision and quality control • Organize and manage large data using advanced Excel functions and data management techniques • Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency across all research projects • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of research findings and data collection methodologies • Maintain organized filing systems and databases for easy data retrieval and reference • Support additional data analytics tasks as assigned by the research team Required Qualifications • A degree in social sciences, public policy, political science, development studies, communications, law, or a related field • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools • Strong data entry skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) • Reliable laptop/PC with stable internet connection and consistent power supply • Excellent research skills and ability to navigate various online databases and resources • Strong organizational and time management abilities Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience in governance research, civic technology, accountability work, or policy analysis • Familiarity with freedom of information, digital government, or open data in Nigeria • Experience with data collection, coding, or qualitative research methods Contract Details This is a one-month contract position offering competitive compensation with performance-based bonus opportunities. The role is remote-based, allowing you to work from anywhere in Nigeria with reliable internet connectivity.
