Senior Logistics Manager - Jumia (Full Time)

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize end-to-end logistics operations, including Sorting Centers, First Mile, and Last Mile delivery networks
• Drive KPIs related to delivery speed, cost-per-package, and success rates while maintaining world-class safety standards
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of managers and operators, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions to enhance warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy
• Collaborate with Commercial, IT, and Finance teams to align logistics capacity with business growth forecasts

Requirements

• 7+ years in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role
• E-commerce or FMCG experience is a major plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable operational strategies
• Deep understanding of Sorting Hub operations, fleet management, and 3PL provider oversight
• A "can-do" attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where agility is key
• Proficient in Google Office Suite – Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional, global project/program execution
• Process oriented, well-organized with a high level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams
