Fraud Investigation Officer

Responsibilities

• Investigate fraud cases and determine appropriate outcomes based on available evidence
• Analyze transaction patterns to identify fraud trends and emerging risks
• Document investigation findings and maintain accurate case records
• Support fund recovery efforts by engaging internal and external stakeholders
• Escalate complex or high-risk cases in a timely manner
• Recommend process and control improvements based on investigation findings
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, Customer Support, and other stakeholders to resolve fraud-related issues
• Ensure investigations are completed within agreed service levels (SLAs)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 2–4 years' experience in fraud investigations, banking, fintech, or a related risk function
• Knowledge of digital payment fraud, transaction analysis, and fraud investigation techniques is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and sound judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple investigations effectively
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
