Job Description

Teach English at public elementary, junior high, and high schools across Japan as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT). Borderlink is one of Japan's largest ALT dispatch companies, partnered with the Japanese Ministry of Education. This is a serious career move — full work visa sponsorship, Japanese health insurance, paid training, and accommodation support. You'll teach 4-5 lessons per day in real Japanese classrooms, work alongside Japanese homeroom teachers, and live in Japan as a respected educational professional. Many ALTs stay 3-5 years and use this as a stepping stone to teaching careers globally. No Japanese language requirement. Bachelor's degree in any field is accepted (degree is required for visa sponsorship).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in ANY field (mandatory for work visa) • Native or near-native English ability • 12 years of education in English-medium schools • Clean criminal background • Willingness to relocate to Japan • 1-year minimum commitment • Driver's license is a plus (some assignments rural)
