As an Engineering Manager for Developer Productivity, you'll own the full spectrum of internal developer experience: from CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure to observability platforms, local development environments, and cross-team feedback mechanisms. Your responsibilities include: architecting and evolving systems that reduce friction and accelerate shipping cycles; identifying bottlenecks in the development workflow and driving measurable improvements; building and mentoring a high-performing team of platform engineers; establishing quality standards that balance speed with craft; and partnering across engineering, product, and design to ensure tooling decisions align with organizational priorities. A critical component of this role is reimagining team processes with AI as a core capability—from code review assistance to incident response. You'll lead by example, experimenting with AI-augmented workflows and coaching engineers on best practices. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in systems design, proficiency with modern DevOps practices, and a track record of shipping platform improvements that demonstrably impact team productivity. Remote-first position based in the US or Canadian provinces (BC, ON).
