at Webflow
Webflow is seeking an experienced AI systems engineer to architect intelligent automation solutions that amplify organizational productivity. In this embedded technical role, you'll partner directly with engineering and product teams to design, prototype, and deploy agent-based workflows that streamline complex operational processes. If you're energized by translating AI capabilities into tangible business outcomes—and enjoy moving between experimental proof-of-concepts and production systems—this opportunity aligns with your strengths.
You'll function as a technical collaborator within Webflow's Engineering, Product & Design organization, focusing on internal AI infrastructure modernization. Your responsibilities include architecting autonomous agents that handle repetitive operational workflows, from program coordination to product launch coordination. You'll balance rapid experimentation with sustainable implementation, ensuring agents integrate smoothly into existing systems while maintaining code quality standards. The role requires designing and maintaining a reusable agent library that enables teams across the organization to leverage AI capabilities without deep ML expertise. You'll work across the full lifecycle: identifying automation opportunities, prototyping solutions with LLM frameworks, validating effectiveness, and scaling successful implementations. Success means building systems that genuinely reduce operational friction while remaining transparent and maintainable for non-specialist teams. Your background combines practical software engineering with hands-on AI development—you understand API design patterns, can prototype iteratively with modern agent frameworks, and appreciate the gaps between theoretical capability and production reliability.
