An overview of this role
As the Manager of Public Sector Solutions Architects , you will lead a team of Solutions Architects serving public sector customers. This role sits at the intersection of technical strategy, customer outcomes, and team leadership. You will support high-impact public sector opportunities, guide technical pre-sales work from planning through monitoring, and help your team connect GitLab’s DevSecOps platform to each customer’s business and mission needs. In your first year, you will be expected to strengthen team execution, improve how the team works across functions, and coach Solutions Architects to deliver consistent technical leadership across strategic engagements.
You will report through the sales organization and work closely with regional sales managers, as well as peers in Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you will both grow a high-performing team and lead by example in customer-facing solution architecture work.
