<p>Wing is looking for a <strong>Director of Communications </strong>who can seamlessly navigate the intersection of cutting-edge technology, consumer trust, and public policy. This role is based <strong>remotely</strong> in the <strong>United States </strong>and will serve as the storyteller and strategic communications architect for Wing.</p>

<p>Wing is entering a new chapter of commercial maturity, moving from targeted drone delivery in key markets to scaling everyday delivery. As the leader in residential on-demand delivery, we are accelerating our rollout nationwide across 20 metro areas. In this role, you’ll architect an integrated communications strategy that transforms drone delivery from a futuristic novelty into an indispensable, trusted everyday service. Success requires a strategist who can balance the distinct needs of external media, local communities, local and federal regulators, global enterprise partners, and our expanding global workforce.</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Design a holistic internal and external communications strategy to support Wing's expansion into complex metropolitan markets.</li>

<li>Normalize drone delivery for consumers, shaping future behavior without losing the innovative factor of our service.</li>

<li>Drive B2B and B2C communications to ensure restaurant and retail partners recognize Wing as a viable, present-day delivery option worth prioritizing on their roadmaps.</li>

<li>Partner with the Government and Affairs and Public Policy teams to engage with federal aviation authorities, policymakers, and local municipal governments to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and community concerns regarding noise, privacy, and airspace safety.</li>

<li>Oversee comprehensive executive communications, thought leadership, internal communications, and crisis communications frameworks.</li>

<li>Distill highly complex autonomous technology into compelling, authentic stories that resonate with consumers, partners. policymakers, tech press, and employees.</li>

<li>Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing communications team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence across internal, external, policy, and product disciplines.</li>

<p><strong>What You’ll Need:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>20+ years of experience in strategic communications, public relations, or corporate affairs, ideally within scaled environments within consumer brands&nbsp;</li>

<li>Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, Business, or equivalent practical experience.</li>

<li>Demonstrated experience managing reputational risk and building corporate narratives for a company undergoing rapid commercial scaling or regulatory scrutiny.</li>

<li>Proven track record of managing multifaceted communications teams across internal, external, product, and policy disciplines.</li>

<li>Exceptional executive presence and experience advising C-suite
