Your Opportunity:
This role is the single point of accountability for payroll accuracy, employee administration, and Workday for France. It exists to make sure every French employee is paid correctly and on time, their administrative file is handled to a legal standard, and the HR systems behind both keep working as the team scales.
This role sits on the critical path for HR compliance in France. Payroll control, employee administration, and Workday maintenance touch every employee in the country and run on fixed statutory deadlines that don't flex.

What you will be doing:
• Payroll control: Own payroll accuracy for every employee in France by controlling the relationship with our external payroll provider. Validate each payroll run before it's released, catch and correct errors before they reach employees, and lead on the complex cases that need expert judgment, disputed absences, complex terminations, or edge cases tied to French collective bargaining agreements. Act as the internal reference point for any payroll question the general HR team can't answer on its own.
• Employee administration: Manage the employee file from hire to exit: draft and issue contracts and amendments, process sick leave declarations, and handle every statutory filing tied to an individual's employment status. Each of these carries its own legal deadline, and getting them right protects both HelloFresh and the employee's pay and legal standing.
• Workday ownership: Act as the sole Workday super-user for France, responsible for system configuration, data integrity, and troubleshooting. Be the first point of contact for every other HR user in France when something in Workday breaks or needs adjusting, and keep the system aligned as processes and legal requirements evolve.
• Reporting: Turn Workday and payroll data into the reports and dashboards our international HR teams rely on to track headcount, cost, and workforce trends for France. Build these proactively as business needs shift, not only when someone asks.
• Regulatory monitoring: Track changes in French labor law as they happen and translate them into system and process updates befor
