Junior Technical Operations Manager – AI & Automation (m/f/d)

flix · Warsaw · Full-time

About this role

At Flix, we offer a dynamic work environment with competitive pay, strong growth opportunities, and a tech-driven approach to making travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable.

We are looking for a curious and driven Junior Technical Operations Manager with focus on AI & Automation who wants to build the operational backbone that lets us scale our platform globally with minimal resource investment. You will keep third-party partner inventory live on our platform while challenging how processes can be improved.

You will be part of a self-organized, cross-functional Platform Business Team where we test and launch new business models. This role starts from the same foundation as the rest of our Technical Operations team – integrating and maintaining partner inventory – and grows it in a new direction: using automation and AI to remove manual, repetitive work so the inventory can scale while remaining a stable team. Your work directly contributes to shaping the future of mobility.

About the Role

• Integrate and maintain partner inventory. You onboard third-party carriers onto our platform and keep their inventory accurate and healthy across our tools and integration modes (self-service, manual, hybrid, and API integration), the operational core our revenue and inventory growth depend on.

• Automate the repetitive. You identify manual, recurring steps in our onboarding and inventory processes and replace them with scripts, workflows, and automation so the team scales without scaling effort.

• Put AI to work. You prototype and apply AI tooling – from data checks and inventory QA to document handling and internal assistants – to speed up operations and improve quality of information.

• Be an expert user of our internal tools. You work closely with our engineer to resolve technical issues, improve the partner and customer experience, and turn recurring pain points into tooling improvements.

• Make it data-based. You use data to find where automation pays off, measure the impact of what you build, and prioritize the next opportunity.

About You

• Holds a degree in a technical, analytical, or business field – e.g. Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or similar with 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Comfortable with data and automation tooling – for example spreadsheets, SQL, scripting (e.g. Python), no-code/low-code automation, or hands-on experimentation with AI tools.

• You are a thorough, detail-oriented person who cares about clean, reliable data.

• You can set your own goals, structure your work to meet them, and find creative workarounds to meet stakeholder needs.

• You love an international environment and are a team player.

• You are fluent in English; any other language is a plus.

We recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences. If you think you could have an impact even though you don't meet 100% of t
