Is your CV getting past the first filter?
Recruiters search their system for the words in the posting and open what comes up. If you built dashboards in Power BI but your CV says "built dashboards", you are not in the list. Check your CV against the job before you apply and see exactly what is missing.

Example result
Data Analyst
Partial match. Five terms the recruiter will search for are missing.
Missing from your CV
Already matched
Good candidates get missed for small reasons.
Usually it is not your experience. It is that you described it in your words and the recruiter searched in theirs.
And sometimes the file itself gets in the way
Two columns or tables
The system reads across the page and your dates end up next to the wrong job.
Contact details in the header
Many systems skip the header, so your email and phone never arrive.
Fancy typography
Joined letters like fi and fl turn "workflow" into a word nobody searches for.
Built weekly dashboards for the sales team
They searched:Power BIPresented findings to managers every week
They searched:stakeholder reportingTested two page layouts to see which sold more
They searched:A/B testingLooked after our biggest clients
They searched:account managementSame skill each time. No match each time. The checker finds these for you.
Every application is a new filter.
The same CV can match one posting well and miss the next. Here is one CV against two jobs on the same day.
Data Analyst, retail
88Audit Associate, bank

Straight answers
Does a high score mean I get an interview?
No. It means your CV uses the posting's words and can be read cleanly, so it shows up when a recruiter searches. Who gets invited still depends on the person reading and who else applied.
Should I add every missing word?
No. Only add a term where it is true for you. Most gaps are things you already do but describe differently, or tools you used and never named.
What score should I aim for?
90 or above is a strong match. The PBridge team does not submit a tailored CV for a client below 90 and aims for 95.
Is my CV private?
Yes. It is used to run your check and, if you choose, kept on your account for later checks. It is never shared with employers.
Your next application deserves more than a guess.
Start with the job you want most. See where your CV stands, fix what is true, and apply knowing it can be found.
