Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using PBridge (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. These Terms apply to everyone who uses PBridge — job seekers, freelancers, clients, employers, and businesses — anywhere in the world.
Who we are and what we offer
PBridge is operated by PBridge Technologies. We are a global career platform. Our services include: a job board of remote and full-time roles from third-party employers; the Career Accelerator, a done-for-you application service; PBridge Certified (PBC) skill credentials; a freelance marketplace with SafeHold™ escrow; and tools that help you find, win, and get paid for work. We connect people with opportunities — we are not the employer, client, or counterparty in the roles and contracts you find or form through the Platform, and we do not guarantee that any application results in an interview or offer.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use PBridge. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. You can close your account at any time from your settings; some information may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
Jobs and the Career Accelerator
Job listings come from third-party employers and their applicant-tracking systems; we surface them but do not control their accuracy, availability, or hiring decisions. The Career Accelerator is a paid service in which our team helps prepare and submit applications on your behalf to roles matching your stated targets. We commit to the work described at purchase — not to any specific interview, offer, visa outcome, or employment result. The specific scope, deliverables, and any extension commitments are set out in the Service Agreement, which forms part of these Terms for Accelerator clients.
Payments, fees and subscriptions
Prices are shown before you pay and may vary by region and currency. Freelance payments are held in escrow and released on approval; PBridge charges a service fee on completed transactions, as shown on our Pricing page and in our Escrow Policy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from your account settings, with no lock-in or cancellation fee, and your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Refund eligibility is set out in our Refund Policy.
Consumer rights
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants statutory rights — such as the European Union or United Kingdom right to withdraw from a distance contract within a set period — those rights apply in addition to these Terms and are not waived by them. Where you ask us to begin a paid service (such as the Career Accelerator) during any withdrawal period, you acknowledge that work may begin immediately and that statutory withdrawal rights may be affected once the service is fully performed. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Platform unlawfully; post false, misleading, or fraudulent content; harass or abuse others; circumvent escrow or take payments off-platform to avoid fees; create accounts to manipulate reviews or rankings; scrape or harvest data; or upload malicious code. Breaches may lead to suspension or termination.
Intellectual property
Unless the freelancer and client agree otherwise in writing, IP rights in project deliverables transfer to the client on full payment. You keep ownership of your profile, portfolio, and original uploads, and grant us a limited licence to display them to operate the Platform. PBridge owns the Platform itself — its software, design, branding, and content, including the PBC credential system.
Disputes between users
For disagreements between a freelancer and client, PBridge offers a mediation process, and both parties agree to try it before external action. Our decisions on escrow fund releases are binding within the Platform. This does not remove any rights you have to pursue legal remedies outside the Platform.
Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, PBridge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or the applicable minimum required by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Termination
We may suspend or close your account for breach of these Terms. You may close yours at any time. On termination your right to use the Platform ends, and any escrow funds are handled under our Escrow Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Platform. Continuing to use PBridge after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PBridge Technologies is incorporated, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless local law grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
