Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, protect, and share your personal data — and the rights you have over it, wherever you are.

Last updated: July 2026

1

Introduction

PBridge Technologies (“PBridge,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our platform, wherever they are in the world. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use and share it, how we keep it safe, and the rights you have over it. It applies to our website, apps, and services (the “Platform”).

2

Data controller & contact

PBridge Technologies is the controller of the personal data processed through the Platform. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact our team at support@pbridgeco.com or through our contact page. If you are in the EU or UK and believe we have not resolved your concern, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

3

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly — your name, email, phone number, and location when you register; profile details such as skills, portfolio, work history, and photo; payment information processed through our secure payment partners; the content of proposals, messages, and files you share; and identity-verification documents where required. We also collect some information automatically — device and browser data, usage data (pages visited, features used), approximate location from your IP address, and data from cookies and similar technologies.

4

How we use your information

We use your data to: provide and improve the Platform; match you with jobs, freelancers, or clients; operate the Career Accelerator and certification services; process payments through escrow; verify identity and prevent fraud; send you service messages (account, application, and payment updates); personalize recommendations; understand usage so we can improve; meet legal obligations; and — only with your consent — send marketing you can opt out of at any time.

5

Legal bases for processing

Where data-protection law such as the GDPR applies, we rely on: contract — to provide the services you sign up for; legitimate interests — to secure, improve, and operate the Platform, balanced against your rights; consent — for marketing and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time; and legal obligation — to meet tax, accounting, and regulatory duties. Where we rely on consent, withdrawing it does not affect processing already carried out.

6

How we share your information

We share data: with other users as needed to make projects work (for example, your profile is visible to a client when you apply); with payment processors and financial institutions to handle transactions; with identity-verification and service providers who help us run the Platform (hosting, analytics, support); when required by law or valid legal process; to protect the rights and safety of PBridge, our users, or the public; and in connection with a merger or acquisition, with notice to affected users. We do not sell your personal data.

7

International data transfers

PBridge operates across many countries, so your information may be processed outside your country of residence. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we put appropriate safeguards in place — such as standard contractual clauses — and work to comply with all applicable data-protection laws in the regions where we operate.

8

Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest; payment processing through PCI-DSS-compliant partners; regular security reviews; access controls limiting who can see personal data; and backups for resilience. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so while we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9

Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. After account closure we may retain certain data to meet legal duties, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements — for example, payment records are kept for the minimum period required for tax and regulatory compliance. You can ask us to delete your data as described below.

10

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate or incomplete data; request deletion; restrict or object to certain processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email support@pbridgeco.com or use our contact page. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

11

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and improve the Platform. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser or our cookie settings where available. Some features may not work properly without essential cookies.

12

Children’s privacy

PBridge is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.

13

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
