Inventory Manager - Jumia (Full Time)

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end stock control and lead daily/monthly cycle counts, maintaining accurate records of all stock received, moved, and shipped out.
• Partner with commercial teams to address aging inventory through return-to-vendor (RTV) actions or promotional sales campaigns.
• Optimize warehouse storage capacity and map inventory processes against Jumia best practices, ensuring strict FIFO execution and safe item handling.
• Prepare detailed operational reports on stock levels, adjustments, and storage compliance while ensuring full system adherence.
• Supervise and develop Inventory Supervisors while working cross-functionally with Inbound, Outbound, and Aftersales teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Project management certifications and basic finance knowledge are added advantages.
• Minimum 4 years of warehouse management or FMCG experience, with deep knowledge of direct-to-consumer e-commerce fulfillment, inventory software, and forecasting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and fluency in English, French, and/or Arabic (based on location).
• Exceptional data analysis, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills with a focus on high detail and independent follow-through in fast-paced environments.
