About The Opportunity
LILT is looking for a Video Localization Specialists, Video Editors and Quality Controllers to manage the end-to-end technical production of global video marketing campaigns. You will be the final gatekeeper for localized video assets, responsible for transforming English master files into dozens of language-specific, platform-compliant deliverables under tight deadlines.
Core Technical Competencies
- High-Volume Versioning & Motion Graphics
- Mastery of Premiere Pro & After Effects: Ability to take a single "Master" sequence and generate a high volume of variants (e.g., 90s, 30s, 15s, and 6s) .
- Dynamic Asset Replacement: Proficiency in swapping on-screen text (OST), title treatments, and endslates while maintaining visual consistency.
- Resolution & Aspect Ratio Management: Expertise in reframing and upscaling/downscaling between 4K (3840x2160) and social-ready formats (9:16, 4:5, 1:1) without quality loss or pixelation .
- Technical Localization Engineering
- Data-Driven Workflow: Ability to interpret complex Versioning Sheets to map specific languages, legal disclaimers, and Call-to-Action (CTA) options to the correct video render .
- Global Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of regional "Legal Lines" and rating board requirements (e.g., PEGI, ESRB, USK) to ensure the correct icons and descriptors are applied per territory .
- Audio/Mnemonic Integration: Experience inserting localized audio "Mnemonics" and audible ratings at precise time-stamps for first-party platform compliance .
- Systems & Pipeline Troubleshooting
- Cross-Architecture Optimization: Knowledge of hardware-specific performance issues, such as ensuring plugins and filters function correctly across both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) and Intel architectures .
- Digital Asset Management (DAM): Experience using professional cloud storage or AEM environments to lock, edit, and sync large source files (e.g., 11GB+ zip archives) .
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Technical Accuracy: Zero-defect delivery regarding resolution, frame rate, and legal disclaimer placement.
- Linguistic Quality Control: Identifying and resolving text-overflow or formatting issues during the Linguistic Sign-Off (LSO) phase.
- SLA Compliance: Delivering high-priority "Batch 1" assets (e.g., 30s/15s trailers) on accelerated timelines when necessary.

- Not ideal as a full time job or primary income source. Work availability fluctuates with project demand, making this better suited as a supplemental income stream.
