Applying in Nigeria
What is different about Nigeria
If you searched for someone to apply for jobs for you, a CV and job application service, or a reverse recruiter in Nigeria, you are in the right place. Here is how it works for candidates there.
Nigeria's job market moves on referrals and speed. Good roles at banks, telecoms, oil and gas firms and tech companies close within days, and a CV that reads as generic is screened out before anyone reads it properly.
We run the search for you. Each week we source roles in Nigeria and remote roles with international employers that match your experience, tailor your CV to each one, and submit only the applications you approve on your dashboard.
Work rights and visas
- Nigerian citizens can apply to any employer in Nigeria without restriction.
- Many international employers now hire Nigerian professionals remotely and pay in US dollars; these roles are competitive and reward a well-targeted application.
- If your goal is a job abroad with sponsorship, see our visa sponsorship pages for the UK, Canada, Germany and the Gulf.
CV conventions in Nigeria
- Called a CV, usually two pages.
- No photo is required; many employers prefer none.
- State your NYSC status if you are a recent graduate.
- Lead with measurable results rather than duties, and include the tools and systems you have used.
Where people apply
- LinkedIn, Jobberman, MyJobMag, Indeed Nigeria, Hot Nigerian Jobs, company career pages
Hiring calendar
- Hiring is strongest from January to March as budgets open, and from September to November. Bank and consulting graduate programmes recruit in the second half of the year. One month's notice is standard.
How we help in Nigeria
We cover both local roles and remote international roles, so you are not choosing between the two. You approve what goes out, and we handle the applications.
Sectors we see hiring most: Technology and fintech, Banking and financial services, Oil, gas and energy, Telecoms, FMCG and consumer goods, Remote roles with international employers.

Who this is for
Want to change your career in Nigeria? Start here.
Changing career in Nigeria
Moving into a new field means reframing your experience for roles that ask for something different. We rewrite your CV around transferable skills for each role, so a career change reads as a strength, not a gap.
Back on track after a layoff
Losing a role is hard enough without a hundred application forms. We restart your search the week you join, so applications keep going out while you focus on interviews.
Too busy to search properly
If you are working full time, a proper search does not fit into your evenings. You approve roles in a few minutes a week; we do the sourcing, tailoring and submitting.
Senior and searching quietly
For senior candidates we keep the search discreet, never apply to your current employer or any company you exclude, and focus on fewer, better-matched roles.
Questions
Before you start
Anything else? Email support@pbridgeco.com and our team will come back to you.
How quickly do applications start after I sign up?
Once you confirm your rebuilt CV, your first role list follows and applications go out as you approve them, normally within the first two weeks.
What do I need to do each week?
Review your role list and approve the ones you want. A few minutes is usually enough.
How quickly do applications start?
Once you confirm your rebuilt CV, your first role list arrives on your dashboard.
What happens when my applications are used up?
Details are set out in our service agreement at pbridgeco.com/career-accelerator/agreement.
Do you apply to remote international roles as well as Nigerian employers?
Yes. Tell us which you want and we source both. Remote roles with international employers go through the same tailoring and approval as local ones.
Can you apply to roles outside Nigeria that sponsor visas?
Yes. If you are targeting the UK, Canada, Germany or the Gulf, we prioritise employers that sponsor and flag them on your weekly list.
Will my CV follow Nigerian conventions?
Yes. We rebuild it as a two-page CV focused on results, with NYSC status where relevant and no unnecessary personal details.
Is it allowed to have someone apply for me?
Yes. Applications are made in your name, with your real experience and documents, and you approve every role before we apply. Employers hire you directly.
Ready to stop applying and start interviewing?
Upload your CV, set your targets in Nigeria, and approve your first weekly list.
