Team mission
AI adoption at GetYourGuide is growing fast, and the decisions made now — about what we build, what we allow, and how we govern it — will shape the company for years. This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of AI strategy, security, legal, and product.
You’ll work directly with the AI Council, IT, Security, and Legal, and partner with AI-focused teams across the business. The role reports into SaaS Operations and operates with company-wide scope: you will build and operate the technical foundations for AI adoption, execute against the governance framework and strategic direction set by IT leadership, and be the go-to technical owner for putting AI governance into practice day to day..
Your mission
Bring GetYourGuide's internal AI governance framework to life, from policy into practice. This means:
• Build and operate the technical foundations that put the AI governance framework into practice : implement the standards, guardrails, and tooling that determine how AI tools are evaluated, adopted, and used across the company.
• Execute against the AI enablement roadmap , balancing innovation velocity with security, compliance, and operational integrity.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact internally , the go-to advisor for teams navigating tooling choices and shadow AI risks, escalating governance calls to IT leadership when needed.
• Support cross-functional alignment between AI, Security, Legal, and business stakeholders , translating technical trade-offs into clear recommendations for decision makers.
• Drive the reduction of shadow AI and fragmentation across the organization through governance structures that are practical enough to actually get adopted.
• Evaluate AI platforms and tools and recommend selections based on security posture, compliance requirements, and long-term operational fit, not just near-term capability.
Your toolkit
AI Enablement and Delivery
• A track record of implementing AI governance frameworks, tooling, or enablement programs at scale.
• Strong technical judgment on where to move fast and where to slow down when rolling out AI capabilities.
Cross-functional Influence
• Experience operating at the intersection of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to challenge assumptions, surface the real problem behind a request, and guide decisions under ambiguity without waiting for permission.
