Team mission
Since 2020, GetYourGuide has established an AI Platform team, providing the tools and best practices to build and maintain production-ready Traditional ML and LLM-based systems.
As a Senior AI/MLOps Engineer, you'll join our AI Platform Team and have a chance to make an enormous impact across all of our AI-powered products. You'll work closely with our Tech teams to build systems that enable ML/AI algorithms to go to production. Your mission:
• You'll design and implement systems and tools for high-quality, scalable and efficient machine learning and LLM solutions.
• You will build the platform on which all of our AI-powered products are built on top of, reducing the time to production and maximizing best practices.
• You'll be partnering/collaborating with product teams to bring advanced algorithms into production, following MLOps/LLMOps best practices.
Your toolkit:
• AI/ML Engineering: You have 3+ years building production systems for ML/AI at scale, and you’ve shipped AI/LLM-based product features end-to-end (not only internal tooling). You’re comfortable with the practical building blocks of modern LLM applications (e.g., orchestration, evaluation, experimentation, guardrails/safety, latency and cost trade-offs)
• MLOps: You apply MLOps/LLMOps best practices at scale: reproducibility, CI/CD for ML/AI, model/service versioning, automated testing, deployment patterns, rollbacks, and monitoring.
• Software Engineering: You have strong fundamentals in Computer Science and a polyglot mindset. Python is your language of choice; you are able to migrate between various programming languages though. Delivering clean code and investigating new tools, languages, and practices is your passion.
• Data Engineering: You bring previous experience in organizing and querying data at scale data warehouses, tools like Spark are not novelty for you.
• Business Experience: You possess the ability to prioritize and manage stakeholders; they know you for your good communication and collaboration skills.
• Vision: Your ideas turn into reliable and maintainable code. A track record of outcome-driven work gives evidence of this. You are experienced in operating at scale; you have a cloud DevOps / infrastructure mindset.
