About the Role:
Taskrabbit is looking for a Strategic Finance Lead to join our FP&A team — someone who combines sharp financial instincts with the interpersonal skills to influence a fast-moving organization. In this role, you'll partner with business leaders across the company to understand performance, evaluate investments, and help shape our path to sustainable growth and increased profitability. You'll need to be technically excellent — superb modeling skills and comfort getting deep in the data details are baseline expectations. But what will set you apart is your ability to build genuine partnerships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, translate complex analysis into clear decisions, and earn a reputation as a trusted advisor. What You Will Work On:
• Conduct ROI analyses to evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities across all functions
• Present analysis to senior and cross-functional audiences — crafting compelling narratives that surface key strategic decisions, not just data
• Take a leadership role in internal team meetings; coach and motivate junior team members and drive process improvements across the finance function
• Play a critical role in forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting cycles
• Build and maintain complex financial models and reports in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
• Help build finance's reputation as a strategic partner by consistently delivering actionable insights to the business
