Director, Global Ops Infrastructure CapEx Management

Join the Global Engineering and Operations leadership team as a key driver of capital investment strategy and engineering excellence across HelloFresh's worldwide fulfillment network. As Director, Global Engineering Project and CapitalManagement, you will own the end-to-end global capital plan — from ideation and justification through execution and close-out — while managing a multi-regional investment portfolio spanning North America, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand. You will also define and govern the engineering standards, tools, and methodologies that underpin our Project Management Office (PMO), partnering with regional engineering leaders across all geographies to ensure consistent, scalable, and innovative delivery of complex engineering programs.

Global Capital Plan Leadership
• Own and manage HelloFresh's global Supply Chain capital plan — spanning new production technologies, automation investments, capacity expansions, facility upgrades, and strategic cost-savings programs across all regions.
• Lead the annual and multi-year capital planning cycle: partner with regional engineering, Maintenance, Safety, AP, finance, and operations leaders to identify, prioritize, and justify capital investments aligned to global business strategy.
• Strategize rigorous business cases and investment justifications for capital projects, presenting recommendations to senior leadership and securing executive approval.
• Establish and maintain a centralized capital portfolio view, providing real-time visibility into spend, schedule, risk, and benefit realization across all active and pipeline projects globally.
• Drive accountability for capital budget adherence, forecast accuracy, and post-investment benefit tracking across all regions and project teams.
Regional Capital Investment Portfolio — North America, Europe & Australia/New Zealand
• Serve as the global owner of the multi-regional capital investment portfolio, maintaining a consolidated view of all active, approved, and pipeline capital projects across North America (USA, Canada), Europe (UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, and other markets), and Australia/New Zealand.
• Partner with regional General Managers, VPs of Operations, and Engineering Directors in each geography to align capital investment priorities with local operational needs, market growth plans, and global strategic objectives.
• Establish a standardized regional portfolio governance model — including investment thresholds, approval workflows, stage-gate reviews, and escalation protocols — ensuring consistent rigor and accountability across all three regions.
• Facilitate quarterly regional capital review sessions with senior stakeholders across NA, Europe, and ANZ, providing executive-level reporting on portfolio health, spend performance, schedule adherence, and risk posture.
