Job Description

Linear seeks an accomplished Account Executive to expand our enterprise customer base across North America. You'll own the full sales cycle from prospect qualification through deal closure, managing relationships with C-suite and technical decision-makers at mid-market and enterprise organizations. Your responsibilities include: developing comprehensive pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification; conducting product demonstrations tailored to customer pain points; navigating complex buying committees with multiple stakeholders; negotiating commercial terms and closing contracts; and serving as the primary account contact post-signature for strategic upsells. You'll act as a customer advocate internally, feeding product feedback to our engineering and design teams to inform roadmap decisions. Success requires staying deeply knowledgeable about Linear's capabilities and the competitive landscape, while mentoring junior team members on best practices. Required qualifications: minimum five years closing enterprise software deals with named account responsibility and consistent quota attainment; proven ability to sell to technical audiences including engineers, architects, and CTOs; track record in SaaS or venture-backed environments; strong communication skills for both technical and business conversations; comfort adapting to rapid change and building processes in a growth-stage organization.
