Join our newest brand, Factor , and help bring chef-crafted, ready-to-heat meals from concept to customers' tables.
As our Commercialization Chef (all genders) , you'll play a key role in turning innovative recipes into scalable, high-quality products. Acting as the bridge between Product Development and Kitchen Operations, you'll ensure every new meal is optimized for commercial production, delivering exceptional quality, consistency, and efficiency. From establishing yields and validating production processes to driving weekly menu launches, you'll be at the heart of Factor's culinary innovation.

What You'll Do
• Drive culinary excellence by leading recipe scale-ups, refining production processes, and ensuring successful commercialization.
• Own the end-to-end scale-up of new recipes, ensuring every meal meets quality, consistency, and food safety standards before full-scale production.
• Prepare and execute R&D recipes at production scale, including ingredient planning, equipment coordination, production execution, plating, and organoleptic evaluation.
• Establish initial production yields based on equipment capacity and operational requirements, partnering with R&D Chefs to optimize recipes where needed.
• Validate recipe methods and production processes to ensure seamless integration into kitchen operations, documenting findings and recommending process improvements.
• Partner closely with the Culinary Team to bridge the gap between recipe development and commercial production, translating creative concepts into scalable operational solutions.
• Collaborate with Kitchen Operations, Sous Chefs, and Executive Sous Chefs to improve product quality, production efficiency, and operational performance.
• Ensure all recipes meet quality standards, specifications, and production requirements before launch, supporting successful new product introductions.
• Evaluate production equipment and workflows by conducting capacity studies, recommending new equipment where appropriate, and identifying opportunities to standardize processes and increase efficiency.
• Monitor production performance and investigate quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to improve customer outcomes.
• Own yield validation by conducting follow-up testing, analyzing production data, and partnering with Operations to optimize yields and ensure consistency between expected and actual production results.
• Lead regular reviews with the Culinary Lead to share insights, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvements across recipes, processes, and production readiness.
