Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a “GenAI Engineer”.

Location: South San Francisco, CA (Fully Remote)

Job Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Job Summary

Seeking a GenAI Engineer to build an enterprise GenAI application layer focused on orchestration, capability discovery, and reusable skills . The role will implement intent routing, agent chaining, tool/skill management, and structured response generation using existing agents and data services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong Python or TypeScript backend engineering experience.

• Production experience with agent orchestration, tool calling, workflow routing, and multi-agent chaining .

• Strong API and schema design skills, including structured JSON input/output contracts.

• Experience combining user intent, conversation history, screen context, and filters into downstream agent requests.

• Experience transforming agent results into narratives, tables, charts, citations, and consistent response payloads .

• Hands-on experience building and deploying GenAI services using AWS, Amazon Bedrock, and AgentCore .

• Ability to independently deliver tested, production-ready code with minimal guidance.

Preferred Skills

• Capability registries, agent/tool catalogs, workflow skills, or discovery services.

MCP and API-first GenAI applications.

• Analytics applications built on semantic-layer or data-query agents.
