Your Safety Matters
Safety Tips
PBridge is committed to keeping our platform safe. Follow these guidelines to protect yourself while freelancing and hiring.
Always Use PBridge Escrow
Never pay or accept payment outside of PBridge. Our escrow system protects both freelancers and clients. If someone asks you to pay directly via bank transfer, mobile money, or crypto β it is a scam.
Verify Before You Trust
Check user profiles for verification badges, reviews, and completed projects before engaging. Verified users have submitted ID documents and passed our screening process.
Never Share Personal Information
Do not share your bank details, passwords, government ID numbers, or home address in chat. PBridge will never ask for your password via email or message.
Watch for Red Flags
Be cautious of users who: rush you to make decisions, offer deals that seem too good to be true, ask you to communicate outside PBridge, or pressure you for upfront payments.
Use Strong Passwords
Create a unique, strong password for your PBridge account. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for an extra layer of security. Never reuse passwords across platforms.
Report Suspicious Activity Immediately
If something feels wrong, report it. Our trust and safety team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Early reporting helps protect the entire community.
Review Contracts Carefully
Before accepting a project, make sure the scope, deliverables, timeline, and payment terms are clearly defined. Document everything through the PBridge platform.
Keep Communication on Platform
All project discussions should happen through PBridge messaging. This creates a record that protects you in case of disputes and helps our support team resolve issues.
