At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. About the role:

The Safety Triage & Insights team builds products and platforms that help customers review safety events, understand driver risk, and take action more effectively. We work across backend systems, APIs, and user-facing experiences that power safety event triage, supervisor workflows, driver insights, and related safety experiences across Samsara.

We are also investing in AI-native product development, including LLM-powered workflows and agentic systems, to help customers move from manual incident review toward more proactive and intelligent safety operations.

As a Software Engineer II on the team, you will own customer-facing features from concept to production, delivering experiences that improve customer workflows and drive meaningful business impact. You'll collaborate across Product, Design, and engineering to build scalable, AI-powered solutions while continuously improving the reliability and scalability of the systems you own.
