How much does a reverse recruiter cost?

Between $150 and $3,000 a month, depending on whether you are buying applications or a full managed search with coaching and outreach. Per application, the spread is wider: cents with an AI tool, $1 to $10 with a freelancer, about $2 to $3 with a managed service, and no stated figure at premium firms, which sell a monthly engagement rather than a volume.

Prices below were read from each company's own site or Google listing on 5 November 2026. PBridge's are the live prices on this site.

Market price ranges checked 5 November 2026. Written by the PBridge team, which sells one of the kinds of service described here.

Three pricing models, and what each one rewards

Monthly fees reward speed: the longer your search, the more you pay. One-time packages fix the cost and the number of applications up front, so you know the price before you start. Success fees, a percentage of your first-year salary, align the service with your outcome but can add $8,000 to $15,000 on a $100,000 to $150,000 salary on top of the monthly fee.

  • Monthly: application services, dedicated recruiter subscriptions, most premium firms, PBridge Flex
  • One-time package: PBridge Starter to Accelerator, prepaid application packs, gig-marketplace packages
  • Success fee on top: some premium firms add 3% to 10% of first-year salary

What drives the price up

US-based staff, one-to-one coaching, hiring-manager outreach and interview guarantees are what the $1,500-plus tier charges for. If you need those, the price is fair. If you need roles found and applications sent well, you are paying for services you will not use.

Questions people ask

How much does a reverse recruiter cost?

Across the market in November 2026: AI auto-apply tools from free to about $200 a month, gig-marketplace freelancers from about $25 a package, monthly application services $150 to $750 a month, PBridge one-time packages from $449 for 150 applications, dedicated recruiter subscriptions $800 to $2,500 a month, and premium reverse recruiting firms $1,500 to $3,000 a month, some adding 8% to 10% of first-year salary.

Who pays a reverse recruiter?

You do. A traditional recruiter is paid by the employer to fill a vacancy, so the employer is the client. A reverse recruiter is paid by the job seeker, so the only goal is roles that suit you. Some charge a monthly fee, some a one-time package, and a few add a percentage of your first-year salary when you are hired.

Is a success fee worth it?

Only if the monthly fee drops enough to offset it. On a $150,000 salary, an 8% fee is $12,000. A fixed package with a known number of applications usually costs a fraction of that; the success-fee model makes sense mainly for senior searches where outreach and negotiation, not applications, are the bottleneck.

Do reverse recruiters actually work?

They work for the part of the search they control: finding roles that fit and getting well-tailored applications out every week, which most people cannot keep up alongside a job. No honest service can promise an offer. The signs of a service that works are that it applies only to roles you approve, shows you proof of every application, and publishes its prices.

Which reverse recruiting company is best?

It depends on what you are short of. If you need coaching, outreach to hiring managers and salary negotiation, a premium firm sells that at $1,500 to $3,000 a month. If you know your targets and need the applying done well, a managed application service such as PBridge costs a fraction of that per application. If money is the only constraint, a gig-marketplace freelancer or an AI tool is cheapest, with the quality and account risks that come with them.
